Data Centre Regional Head of Integration

THE PROJECT
A 2.9GW hyperscale data centre programme across Europe, one of the largest in the sector by capacity, delivered by a developer and operator that builds and runs its own campuses. This role leads integration across the programme’s Finnish campuses, based in Helsinki.
The programme is judged on whether each campus is handed over as a working, operationally ready facility, not just a finished building. Making that happen across several campuses at once is this job.

THE ROLE
This is a strategic, multi campus leadership role, not a site role. You’ll set how civil, MEP, IT and OT scopes come together across the region, with a particular focus on owner furnished equipment (OFCI/OFOI). Dedicated project managers run day to day delivery on each campus. You’ll give them the standards, the governance and the technical direction to deliver integrated, operationally ready facilities.

• Set the regional integration strategy, and the technical standards, quality gates and handover protocols every campus works to
• Own the OFCI/OFOI framework so owner furnished equipment is specified, procured, delivered, installed and tested without surprises
• Make sure hyperscaler requirements are translated into design and delivery across CSA, MEP, IT and OT
• Provide oversight of testing, commissioning and handover through to operational readiness across multiple projects
• Hold the senior interfaces between the developer, hyperscaler clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and operations teams
• Lead and develop the regional integration and commissioning team, including the dedicated project managers

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• You’ve held a director level role, or equivalent, responsible for OFCI, technical integration or commissioning on hyperscale or Tier III/IV data centre programmes
• You’ve led delivery across multiple projects or campuses at once at a strategic level, from design through construction and commissioning to operations
• You have enough technical breadth across CSA, MEP, IT and OT to direct specialist scopes and challenge the people delivering them, without needing to be hands on
• You’re comfortable setting governance and standards, and holding senior client, contractor and vendor relationships

USEFUL, NOT ESSENTIAL

• Developer, operator or hyperscaler side experience
• Experience delivering in the Nordics
• Programme level experience on other large mission critical builds such as pharma, semiconductor or energy
• Commissioning or operational readiness framework training, or PMP, PRINCE2 or CDCP
• A degree in engineering or construction management (equivalent experience is just as welcome)
