Senior Commissioning Manager - Helsinki

Our client is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead mechanical and electrical commissioning activities on a major data centre project in Helsinki. This is a permanent role that offers the opportunity to manage commissioning teams through both live and build environments, overseeing all stages of the commissioning process from initial planning through to handover. The successful candidate will be responsible for stakeholder management across multiple disciplines and will play a key role in ensuring the project meets its technical and operational objectives.

• Lead and manage commissioning teams across live and in-build environments on a large-scale data centre project
• Own all stages of the M&E commissioning process, from planning and execution through to final sign-off
• Manage stakeholder relationships across engineering, operations, and client teams to ensure seamless project delivery

Preferred Requirements

• Proven experience managing commissioning teams on data centre or similar large-scale infrastructure projects
• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical commissioning processes and best practices
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders effectively across multiple disciplines and organisational levels
• Experience working in both live operational environments and active construction sites
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate complex, multi-phase commissioning activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Professional certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
• Commissioning-specific qualifications or accreditations relevant to data centre or critical infrastructure projects
