Senior Project Manager MEP - Data Centre

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major MEP projects within the data centre sector. This is a permanent role for someone with a strong construction background, ideally with experience in general contracting or operations. The successful candidate will manage large, complex projects autonomously, balancing site presence with stakeholder engagement to deliver results on time and on budget.
 

• Lead end to end MEP project delivery on data centre builds, from planning through to handover
• Hands on site management with the autonomy to make decisions and drive projects forward independently
• Ideal for a GC or operations background professional ready to step into a senior project leadership role

Preferred Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior construction project manager, ideally on data centre or similar large scale infrastructure projects
• Strong background in general contracting or site operations, with demonstrated ability to manage teams and contractors
• Competence in MEP coordination and the technical requirements of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and site teams
• Ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions under pressure, and maintain project momentum across multiple workstreams

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Professional membership with the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or equivalent body
• Data centre project experience or familiarity with mission-critical facility requirements
